I opend a network share thru Bluetooth tethering, and I can also access the network when I connected my Android device to the host. But seems that the IP address was assigned only by DHCP, my question is: Can I set a static IP for my bt-pan network? the inferace like below:
bt-pan Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 3e:2c:46:19:9d:ac inet addr:192.168.44.18 Bcast:192.168.44.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 inet6 addr: fe80::8aef:69db:c389:2a8c/64 Scope: Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:1773 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:1841 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:1441325 TX bytes:239845In additional, here is my steps for bt-pan network:
(1) Create bluetooth tethering in Android device A:
Go to Settings -> Network & internet -> Hotspot & tethering, enable "Bluetooth tethering" switch button.
Open Bluetooth.
(2) To Connect the bluetooth tethering in Android device B:
Open bluetooth.
Search bluetooth device, to pair and connect the bluetooth of Device A.
you can access internet now. try it in a browser.
run "adb shell ifconfig", you will see a "bt-pan" in the list.
